The very first step is to calculate the size of the bedspread. To do this, you need to measure the length, width of the mattress, add 30 centimeters in length, 60 centimeters in width of the product.
The measurements are ready, let's start sewing.
- Make a pattern of the parts according to the measurements. In the process, a small difficulty may arise if the width of the purchased fabric is standard and is 150 centimeters. Do not rush to despair and give up everything! There is an original way out of this situation: make a piping along the edges. Pull the threads of the gathering stitches together, adjusting the frill to the length of the bedspread, remembering the pattern. Try to match it. Baste the frill to the fabric of the bedspread.
- The final stage. Stitch the frill to the bedspread and carefully remove the basted seam. The decoration is done.
