You will need:

- lids.
First, you need to create a pattern on a dense base by laying out the lids accordingly. Use an awl to create holes on the sides of each lid. Use a fishing line to connect the lids together. It is almost invisible, so the product will look neat.
Helpful Hint: To make it easier to create holes in the lid, first place them in hot water.
Such a rug can be of any shape, everything depends on the imagination and the idea itself.
To increase the reliability of the fastening, it is necessary to make 4 holes in each cover, and arrange the fishing line inside it crosswise. It is better to make the drawing from the bottom row, filling the elements in rows in the form of a "snake".

Depending on whether you have chosen thick fabric, cardboard or plywood, you will have to choose the method of fastening. This can be either a thread or fishing line, or regular screws.
However, in addition to the methods listed above, you can use a much more interesting idea for playing with your child. If your baby likes puree in soft packaging, take a close look at the lids. They have an amazing ability to stick together without any additional materials, like a mosaic.
