- In more complex work, carving is done first and then the piece of furniture is assembled.
The easiest way to apply carving is with a jigsaw. You can quite easily cut a simple pattern into the wood. Using such a tool, you can simply create cuts in the wood.
Wood carving with a jigsaw should be done with special care. Making figured legs will require you to use a lathe. Throughout the work, you should be guided by the drawing with the desired pattern.
After the carving has been applied, it is necessary to start polishing the product. At the end of this procedure, the elements of the structure acquire a finished look. The chairs are assembled and screwed together using self-tapping screws.
It is quite easy to assemble them using a Phillips screwdriver. At the same time, you should avoid creating fasteners in the place where the thread is located. If you are satisfied with the appearance of the piece of furniture, then the main work can be considered complete.
Decorating the product
Carved chairs can be decorated in several ways, we will list the main ones.
- Through finishing. This carving is applied when the background areas of the structure are completely destroyed.
