And if you keep the laminate coating on the chipboard surface intact, then such a case will not be afraid of moisture and high temperatures. Another advantage of furniture made of pressed wood is that when the case is hit, there are no dents or marks left on it.

Unfortunately, wardrobes made from "shavings" also have their fair share of disadvantages. These include:

1. If the laminate flooring is damaged, moisture will become the main enemy of your furniture.
2. To make the chipboard stronger, it is treated with formaldehyde resins, which emit a small amount of toxic substances.

MDF

MDF is a wood fiber board, but differs from fiberboard by its medium density. In other words, these are boards consisting of small wood fractions. As a rule, they are used to make the back walls of cabinets, just like fiberboard. But unlike fiberboard, entire furniture complexes can be made from MDF. Compared to chipboard, MDF is more expensive, stronger, and due to its increased plasticity, it can be used to make storage areas for outerwear and accessories, decorated with carved facades and curves. Another advantage of MDF is that such a product can be installed in a room with high humidity; the fiberboard is made of an environmentally friendly natural material, and therefore does not harm the health of household members.

Solid wood furniture

This is the most expensive type of apartment furniture, as solid wood of such trees as beech, walnut, oak, coniferous and other species is used to create sets. This furniture can be seen in the most luxurious European palaces, because it speaks of the owner's wealth, his taste for life and love of natural things. It is this kind of storage, reminiscent of nature, that can improve the microclimate in your "nest", purify the air and delight you with the pleasant aroma of wood for many years. The disadvantages of a wardrobe made of solid wood include its dislike of moisture and high temperatures. Compared to built-in wall storage units, cabinet-type wardrobes are positioned as a separate piece of furniture. A huge advantage of such wardrobes is their mobility, that is, when moving, you will only need to disassemble it and move to a new apartment, whereas for a built-in upper wardrobe storehouse, you will need to look for a suitable niche, and if there is none, rack your brains on how to arrange it yourself. • Radius. More and more often, for rational placement of the wardrobe, customers opt for a semicircular facade with sliding doors, which can have support at the top of the doors or at the bottom, depending on whether the guides are mounted in the ceiling or in the floor.

  

• Rectangular. A set with right angles is suitable for adherents of the classics. The interior of the cabinet is filled according to the customer's wishes.

2. A more expensive option for filling is a filler consisting of metal modules from other suppliers (for example, IKEA). Baskets, racks, partitions, hangers can be purchased separately at the wholesale base of specialized stores and built into your wardrobe.

   

3. Combined filling method. In this case, part of the cabinet is filled by the manufacturer of the set at the customer's request, and ready-made baskets, shelves, hanger holders, etc. are selected for the remaining part.

The layout of the filling is filled depending on the customer's requirements. Everyone approaches this issue individually, because someone needs hangers in large quantities, and someone prefers to store clothes and things in drawers.

If the niche allocated for the furniture set is very narrow, then the hangers, which take up at least 50 centimeters of space inside the cabinet, should be placed not along the facade, but perpendicular to the back wall. This solution will save space.

When choosing a sliding wardrobe, remember that, unlike cabinet furniture, it allows you to use a smaller depth of space in the room with maximum filling. And due to the absence of back walls, you can accommodate more things, clothes and accessories.
