It looks like this: if the slope is 2 mm per 1 m of distance, then the height of the legs should compensate for this. If the cabinet is 1.5 m long, then the first leg should be 3 mm smaller than the second in the direction of the slope.

Pay attention to the presence of a baseboard in the room. If there is one, you should either take it into account in the design, which will involve a large amount of work in preparing the drawing and making the design.

Tools and equipment

• Screwdriver.

• Milling machine. Designed to make grooves for shelves, which gives the structure a more aesthetic appearance. A certain skill is required. If there are none or it is impossible (inexpedient) to purchase a milling machine, an alternative would be to mount it using brackets, which will simplify manufacturing, but will make the finished product less attractive.
• Drill, chisel, hammer.
• Paint brushes, cloth for removing traces of varnish and stain.

Materials

If you have little experience in making carpentry products with your own hands, it is advisable to use MDF board as the main material.

You will need:

• DFor the sidewalls there are two sheets of MDF 198*40*2 cm; Top 100*40*2 cm;
• Poleki (also MDF) – 7 pcs. 97*40*2 cm (the back part can be made of chipboard material – 200*100);
• TOMDF rim 2 cm wide and 8 mm thick. 2 slats of 2 m and 2 of 1 m;
• WITHwood glue for woodworking (it is advisable to take Moment Montazh Super Strong Plus glue);
• 2 corners;
• Shscrews;
• Morilka;

In order to avoid having to cut the material yourself, when purchasing chipboard and MDF, it is advisable to ask the store to cut the materials.The edge, MDF, and chipboard stain should be matched in the same color scheme.

1. We apply stain to the chipboard sheet and let the sheet dry.
   

   

2. On the inside of the side parts we mill grooves 2 cm high and 5 mm deep. The first groove is at 9 cm, then we make 6 more grooves with an interval of 25 cm between the edges of the groove.
   

   

3. Apply glue to the grooves. Place the side part horizontally on the floor with the grooves facing up, insert the shelves into it and insert the second side part on top.
   

   

4. We place the product vertically. From above, we connect the upper part with the main part using screws. To give the structure stability, we additionally attach 2 corners to the inner part.
   

   

5. From behind, we attach the chipboard to the bookcase using screws.
   

   

6. We edge the MDF. You can use screws, which is more reliable, but less attractive. You can use glue, which looks more aesthetically pleasing.
