- Mini-curtains are used to close plastic windows. Due to their design, they are in a stable position when ventilating the room.
Compact models are suitable for both fixed and movable sashes - Template curtains are very easy to install and are adjusted using a chain mechanism, they are used to close narrow and wide windows, and an electric drive can be connected to them.
The curtain chain mechanism has a simple design, works without problems and does not jam. - Cassette roller blinds inspire have special boxes in which the fabric is rolled up. They do not let in sunlight and remain motionless during ventilation.

These curtains are very compact when rolled up.
Closed blinds are also controlled by a drum, which is located in a plastic box. The lower edge of the curtain is protected by a bar to prevent deformation.
Electric drives for controlling inspire roller blinds are the simplest. The power source can be either the mains or regular batteries. Everything is controlled with one hand.
“Day and Night” or “Zebra”: characteristics
These new generation roller blinds provide good protection from sunlight. They combine the design and construction of both regular blinds and curtains. They consist of a double canvas and are controlled by a chain mechanism.
Suitable for plastic and wooden windows. The design of the roller blinds "Day and Night" is similar to blinds with dark and light horizontal stripes that are alternately connected to each other. They have a Teflon coating that protects the surface from dust and other deposits.
Dark stripes are made of dense, natural and synthetic polyester material. Light stripes are made of plain mesh fabric with a matte color, shine or patterned coating.
The curtain is controlled by a chain mechanism. To dim the flow of light, you need to move the stripes slightly. If the dark stripes overlap the light ones, then the window will be completely closed.
How to clean roller blinds “Day and Night”
With regular care, the roller blind day night inspire retains its quality and marketable appearance for many years. A regular dry cloth is suitable for cleaning dust.
Important! Do not use a vacuum cleaner, which can damage the material, suck in the chain mechanism and damage it. Detergents with chlorine can negatively affect the color and structure of the material. A damp sponge is only suitable for cleaning greasy stains.
Blackout roller blinds: types of fabric
This fabric is made of 3 layers:
- the first serves to reflect sunlight;
- the second gives the fabric the desired shape;
- the third serves as a facing on which a pattern or color is applied.
The design of the light Blackout, which consists of 3 layers (main, face and reflective) is made in bright colors.
The dark blackout design is presented in dark colors (brown, gray, blue or burgundy). It is a dense woven fabric that is a reliable protection from sunlight.
After several washes and scratches, the coating wears off and loses its aesthetic appearance. Dark fabric has soft and flexible properties and is more resistant to external influences.

Installation of Inspire roller blinds: mounting options
Installation without drilling closed holes is a plastic box that protects the canvas from dust and can extend its service life. With this option, the guide strips are attached with double-sided tape. This eliminates the mechanism from overloads.
In the open version, a mechanism with a fishing line is installed. Brackets for fastening the mechanism are mounted on the window frame.
Side brackets are installed on the “blind” window frame using double-sided tape.
Important! This method of fastening is not suitable for windows that are on the south side. Due to constant solar radiation, the tape begins to peel off, and the structure will begin to slide.
Self-tapping screws allow you to install the mechanism on the window frame and wall. You will need the following tools:
- level;
- pencil for marking holes;
- self-tapping screws;
- drill;
- screwdriver.
Installation procedure:
- It is necessary to assemble the mechanism according to the instructions and place it on the fasteners.
Inspire curtain assembly diagram - The finished structure must be applied to the window frame and the points for drilling holes must be marked.
- Using a level, you need to align the points where the brackets will be attached.
- After the holes have been drilled, you need to secure the brackets with screws and install the plug.
Please note that Inspire blinds are fixed directly to the window frame, not to glazing beads. - The curtain is fixed with magnets or special Velcro for fabric.
The magnets are attached to double-sided adhesive tape.
Advice from experts
- You need to buy a ready-made mechanism for installing roller blinds, which is easy to assemble if you have instructions.
A roller blind mechanism designed for installation on solid frames using screws - Before purchasing, you need to clarify for which window frame the control mechanism is needed (“blind” or open), check the kit, which includes: fasteners, blinds and instructions.
To ensure smooth movement of the curtain fabric and to prevent sagging of the fabric, there are side guides, which can be purchased separately and installed using double-sided tape. - Before applying the tape, the surface must be treated and degreased.
- The installed handle for opening the sash should not interfere with all the fittings. Windows can be opened only after raising the blinds.
- You should not repair the mechanism yourself. You need to seek help from specialists.
If you have non-standard windows, the curtain can be cut to the required width.
