What is needed
To successfully assemble the transformer you will need:
- Phillips screwdriver or screwdriver with attachments;
- furniture hammer;
- fasteners and accessories included in the delivery set.
Despite the many offers on the furniture market, most manufacturers' process consists of the following stages:
Assembling the case
The corner legs of the two halves are connected with screws or eccentrics. The body is assembled in the same way from the long and short tsars.
IMPORTANT! The legs and sidebars have special holes designed for simultaneous installation of the lift and the tie rod of the entire structure. Check after assembly whether they match.
Nail plastic heels to the bottom ends of the legs. Install shock absorbers on the top ends of the sidebars to soften the impact of the tabletop when it is folded.
Installation of the lifting mechanism
Bring the lift into working position. To do this:
- hook one end of the spring into the hole inside the lift;
- insert a pin inserted into the second end of the spring into the groove on the opposite side;
The spring is in working condition, secured to the mechanism. - Screw the lifters to the long and then to the short rails.
IMPORTANT! The legs of the holders intended for the folding table top are higher than those made for the base.
Installation of table top and table base
Screw the bottom flap of the folding tabletop and the base to the holder platforms. Install shock absorbers on the outside of the base to absorb the impact when the tabletop is unfolded. Using an outside-in movement, fold the legs of the lift into a box. It will be closed by the bottom of the tabletop.
Place the second half on top so that the end holes for the hidden hinges are on one side and their center-to-center distance is minimal (about 14 mm). Carefully insert the hinges and secure with screws.
The table you have assembled will serve you for a long time. Do not forget to tighten its fastenings once a year, clean the surface with a dry soft cloth or a special furniture polish.
