Teflon is resistant to high temperatures, is not afraid of not only hot dishes, but also sparks. Accidentally dropped ash from a cigarette will not burn a hole.

This tablecloth does not require ironing and will never fade in the sun, but requires careful washing. It needs to be soaked in warm water, do not wring it out. With regular use, it will last for 5-6 years. In addition to its advantages, this material also has disadvantages. The coating is not environmentally friendly, it is based on chemical compounds.

Acrylic

Perfectly repels any dirt, it will be enough to wipe with a damp cloth. It is perfectly washed, does not fade and retains its appearance for a long time. Acrylic tablecloths have a shiny surface, which will give a special solemnity to your table. It will not slide on the table and cause a lot of inconvenience.

It tolerates heat well, and is not afraid of even a hot frying pan. It can be ironed from the reverse side. In addition, the coating does not react to solvents. Acrylic tablecloths are distinguished by their low cost and wide range. The only downside is that the acrylic surface wears out and cracks over time, but this trouble will occur after several years of use.

Polyester

Tablecloths can be made entirely of polyester or a mixture of materials, often with the addition of cotton and linen. Such fabric never wrinkles or deforms, and does not require long ironing. It is dense and quite durable, does not fade or wear out. It will definitely fit into any interior and decorate the table.

Among the many advantages, there is one disadvantage - flammability. Such a tablecloth absolutely does not tolerate high temperatures, it begins to melt under hot dishes, and from the slightest spark it immediately flares up and catches fire. Therefore, it is not suitable for a festive table decorated with candles.

In addition to the above, there are PVC tablecloths. They are the least expensive among the others. They are not durable and are more suitable for single use.

Another budget option is oilcloth. This is a universal table covering. It lasts a long time, but the colors wear off quickly. Transparent oilcloth is often laid over a beautiful fabric tablecloth as protection.
